The Post-Conviction Justice Project welcomes support from the public. Monetary donations help offset the day-to-day costs of the clinic, but there are numerous other ways to help our clients secure their release. This page will feature a regularly updated list of ways to help the Post-Conviction Justice Project achieve its goals.
- APPLY TO JOIN THE PROJECT
This summer, the Project hired six first-year students who will stay on for the following academic year. To meet our new students, click here.
The Project also enrolls ten additional students for the Fall and Spring semesters. If you are currently a student at the University of Southern California Law School, you will have the opportunity to register for the clinic in August.
- WRITE THE GOVERNOR
Inmates are presently are awaiting a decision from Governor Jerry Brown as to whether their grants of parole will stand. The Governor has the authority to reverse a grant of parole from the state Board of Commissioners but considers letters of support and other factors before doing so.
